Jobs Description
We are seeking for energetic pickers and packers to join our team. Overall purpose of the job: Pick stock for selected jobs as per pick slip request. Packing and stock control receipted from suppliers. Approve stock orders for dispatch, picking slips and transfer confirmations to the relevant collector. Assist with stock take during month end Packaging and work safely in line with health and safety standards. Promote and display high aptitude for meeting quality standards. Pulls and packs product based on daily orders. Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure all order picks slips are packaged for distribution daily.
Responsible for order distributions, receiving of goods and inventory control.
Prepare package waybills containing customer details and package dimensions
Liaise with couriers to book in and prepare items for collection;
Monitors quality of the packaging and integrity of all delivered goods mitigating stock shrinkage due to damages.
Maintains accurate levels of stock control by administering clear stock control procedures.Excell Spreadsheet Experience is critical for the job as well computor literacy.
Ensure all completed paperwork per order is handed into the office admin daily for processing.
Upholding company packaging quality standards and safety standards.
Ensure general housekeeping, upkeep and stock control for warehouse.
Apply improvements to Supply and logistics chains.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Matric / Grade 12 Experience in a retail/distribution/warehousing environment of 2 years, preferably in retail industry.
4 years as picker and packer for warehouse and related cognative aptitude
2 years packaging experience for small product distribution

Good people skills Able to work in a team.
Great time management – fast & accurate work ethic.
Proficient with using tools required for this position.
Proficient organisational, punctuation and verbal skills is essential.
